Hi. I am a volunteer worker for Austin pets alive! && I would like to introduce you to the “lonely hearts club” at our downtown facility. These beauties have been with us for far too long && they would love to be apart of you’re family! As you can see, they are mostly pitbulls but they are sweet angels && just like rest of our dogs, they need love && care. They only difference is they’ve been with us for 6 months to a year && this simply can not do.

Please, if you’re in the Austin area, open up your hearts && home to a loving dog. If you’re considering adoption, message me for location details.

Thank you from me && the lonely hearts club.

Signal boost!

Good job pet store. That is what’s up.

I worked in a pet store for 5 years, and every Easter our rabbit sales went up exponentially. I can tell you from experience that almost half of the rabbits we sold were brought back in as early as two weeks after they were adopted. Some people let them loose, and some people send them to a shelter. People need to understand this very statement, and truly think about it. A rabbit is a big commitment, and should not be a fad or seen as a compulsory pet.
I cannot like this anymore than once, but I sure as hell hope people will spread this message, because it’s important as hell. I used to hand out care sheet BOOKLETS to everyone looking to adopt, and it prevented many of them from adopting in the end.

If you decide to bring a rabbit into your home, please ADOPT them, don’t buy them from a pet store. There are plenty of shelters with rabbits available for adoption, as well as rabbit-specific rescue organizations.

Holy fuck. I never really understood how they caught birds before, I assumed they had to sneak up on them.

How was this even caught on camera?

did that cat fucking put the thing in its mouth in midair so it could land on its feet

Did you know that pound for pound, house cats are THE most efficient land predators?

Cats are better than you.
